Some people want to breed their dogs just for the sake of seeing puppies. However, that’s not an advisable practice for dog owners. If people want to see puppies being born, the best way to go about it is to foster a pregnant dog and help them give birth.
One kind soul took the time to foster a pregnant pit bull. Her name is Courtney, and she saw a Facebook post about a dog named Emma. Emma was a pregnant pit bull who was surrendered to a shelter.
The dog was large and seemed like she was ready to give birth at any moment. The foster parents were amazed to see how well Emma got along with the other pets. There was no friction because Emma was an accepting dog.
The foster parents prepared a good place for Emma to give birth. She had a successful delivery and gave birth to ten healthy puppies. The foster parents also helped the dog when it comes to taking care of the mess the puppies made, as expected of them.
They also gave names to the puppies based on different factors. Bubbles is the laziest one of the bunch. Meyer’s is the biggest puppy. Comet was the puppy who opened his eyes first among the litter.
The puppies love to take naps until noontime. After the nap, they start playing and making a mess. Then the foster parents clean up the mess, and the cycle continues. The foster parents aren’t complaining because they love what they’re doing.
Emma was a wonderful mother. She took care of the puppies until they were weaned. Even after the puppies were weaned, Emma would still play with them. After fifty, all of the puppies got adopted.
The foster parents were glad to become a part of Emma’s story. They are excited to see the puppies live a good life but, at the same time, sad to let them go. Overall it was an amazing foster experience for everyone involved.
