Nowadays, to say that healthcare workers are busy and stressed is an understatement. During tough times like a pandemic, it’s nice for them to have something that alleviates some of the stress. This is when a foster dog like Love comes in.
Lauran works as a microbiologist in a hospital. She is one of the people who are fighting and diagnosing the coronavirus. Work has been hectic lately, but despite that, she still managed to foster a puppy.
Love is a small active puppy that does regular puppy stuff. On the second day of the quarantine, she took a roll of toilet paper and made a mess. At the time, Lauren had already envisioned how chaotic but fun her house will become.
As anyone would expect from a puppy, Love poops and pees all over the house. She isn’t potty trained yet. Lauren has a lot of patience and gives the puppy regular baths.
Sometimes Love would approach Lauren while she is on her computer. She can’t resist the cuteness of the puppy. She even has a lot of costumes for her to try on. There are pajamas too.
Love’s mother is already adopted and is in a loving home. Sometimes Lauren calls the owner of Love’s mom so the two dogs can Facetime each other.
When the foster parents are exercising, the little puppy joins them. Sometimes Love helps acting as an additional weight for exercises. The other pet in the house seems to appreciate her presence as well.
According to Lauren, the fostering experience has been very rewarding. Love has made them busier but happier. Lauren can’t wait until the pandemic is over so she can find Love in a new home.
The people commenting on the video thinks that Lauren is going to end up keeping Love anyway. The foster parent seems to be very attached already. Whether it’s the pandemic or Lauren’s fostering update, all we can is do stay safe and wait.
